Edinburgh
Hello everybody! This week, to celebrate the end of term, I had a short getaway in Edinburgh. The beautiful Old Town, seen from Princes Street Going by train is slightly more expensive, but the time is roughly the same when factoring in things such as the time spent waiting at the airport, accounting for about 5-6 hours in total. An unmissable attraction in Edinburgh is the castle, which overlooks the city and contains fancy exhibits like crown jewels or more solemn monuments like a war memorial. But one of my favourite things about this city was that it was so green ! Pictured is the river Leith, which has a beautiful walkway lining it. It was easy to forget this was actually a capital city and not the countryside! ...
