Edinburgh

Image
Hello everybody! This week, to celebrate the end of term, I had a short getaway in Edinburgh. There are many ways to get here but what I found was cheapest for me was to travel by train from Norwich down to London Stansted (just over £21 for a return trip if you have a railcard!), and fly with Ryanair to Edinburgh Airport. The beautiful Old Town, seen from Princes Street Going by train is slightly more expensive, but the time is roughly the same when factoring in things such as the time spent waiting at the airport, accounting for about 5-6 hours in total. An unmissable attraction in Edinburgh is the castle, which overlooks the city and contains fancy exhibits like crown jewels or more solemn monuments like a war memorial. But one of my favourite things about this city was that it was so green ! Pictured is the river Leith, which has a beautiful walkway lining it. It was easy to forget this was actually a capital city and not the countryside!

final weeks at UEA

Image
Hi everyone, I am currently in my final weeks here at UEA, just a few more exams and then I will have finished my degree. I have been here for almost three years now and I just can't believe how time flew by! I have enjoyed my time at UEA immensely and would recommend coming here to anyone. I will surely miss the beautiful campus and the summer walks around the lake, but I know I will come back. Best wishes from a sentimental final year student Nora - Dutch Student Ambassador

Studying Abroad with UEA

Studying Abroad with UEA At UEA, a lot of courses offer the possibility to study abroad for one or two semesters. So does my course (BSc Psychology), and I will be going on exchange to Philadelphia, Temple University, next year. UEA has exchange agreements with hundreds of universities around the globe. So here are a few pictures of where I will be studying:    Lukas German Student Ambassador
