A guide to Norwich over the Summer
Well the sun is finally shining in Norwich and there is so much coming up that you must not miss out on if you are in the 'Fine City' over the summer....
Here is a few things you should check out that are happening in the next couple of weeks!
GORILLAS!
53 gorillas have invaded norwich (well actually they are just statues) but they are pretty awesome - have a look at the following website for more information and a downloadable trail map! http://gogogorillas.co.uk/
THE LORD MAYORS CELEBRATION
This is an annual event in Norwich that lasts over a weekend - this year 5-7th July
Here are just a few of the events:
Funfair - Chapelfield Gardens - 6-7th July
Medieval Market / World Market - 5-7th July
Gas Hill Gasp (Crazy cyclists trying to get up the very steep Gas Hill) 5th July
Lord Mayors Street Procession - Watch some amazing floats, dancers and see some spectacular costumes - 6th July
Fireworks! - By the Norwich Castle - 6th July
