Cool things about UEA library

In addition to 24/7 opening, UEA is super cool


1. Different floors have different colours!
Studying can be sometimes dull. I guess UEA library was aware of the fact because 6 floors of the library all have different colours. The zero floor is in pinkish red, purple and as far as I know, this colour is proved to be the most productive colour. But if pink, red are just not your things, there are a vast green area on Floor 3, another oceanic blue on floor 2 I guess.
2. There are SILENT SILENT study rooms!
The library is supposed to be quite all the time anyway. However, there is a space the level of silence is pushed to its peak: Silent study rooms. There is one in Floor 01 and I swear, when you come in, you only want to do work!
3. Mysterious Floor 02!
This floor is full of cool things! There are special shelves that can move!!!! You can also find very old, ancient scripts kept there. Who knows if there are spells around?
4. A beautiful and serene view from Floor 3!
The top floor of the library! You can't ask more than a whole view of the breathtaking UEA broad with surrounding small green hills and tall pine trees!
5. Individual study rooms
If you are so sick of your study space at home but you are being chased by deadlines, you know you need to go the library to be productive but at the same time, you want to be on your own! No problem at al! You can easily book an individual study room in the library, settle down and finish your essay(s) in ease ;) I usually book those in the floor 3 since I love the view from the window. The same thing goes for group study rooms if you want to have your study buddies in the library.
6. At UEA, you can do most of things online
You can search for books (save tons of time), you can access to journal papers, you can request the book you want, you can renew your beloved books. Recently, I have found out that you can TOP UP your card online, which is used for printing, and you can send your documents to the system from your laptop (even at home) to print in the library. Yes, no more queuing for computers to print, no more feeling frustrated during rush hours :)

Oh right, at the ground floor, you can eat and drink and chat with your friends there!
