SUMMER AROUND ASIA

At the end of my fourth year in medicine, I along with my three friends, decided to have our medical placement in Vietnam. So, this summer I had the pleasure of enjoying the sun, sandy beach and proper Vietnam summer. Other than Vietnam, we also made our way to Thailand and Hong Kong for few days! So, here's a few travel guide to these amazing places in Asia.

Thailand

In Thailand, we made our way to Pattaya city where we visited 'The Sanctuary of Truth'. It is a huge wooden building with beautifully carved sculptures. The buildings symbolises four principle elements of the planet: Earth, Water, Wind and Fire.






Then we made our way to the Big Buddha located on the top of the Pratamnak Hill. Surrounding the Big Buddha were 7 smaller Buddha representing seven days of the week.

I managed to get a coin in the Buddha in my second attempt (Quite proud of that!)




 With the limited time, we then visited Bangkok where we went to yet another temple 'Wat Arun'. Unfortunately they had construction going on, but that didnt stop us from seeing amazing temples and buildings around. And we rode in tuk tuk!!

Had the best time in Thailand, got to have such exotic and tropical fruits and amazing night markets!!

So that was our lil Thailand tour! Next time, Vietnam!!!
