Out and about in Norwich
As an international student studying at UEA, one could enjoy meeting people from all over the world and exploring Norwich's interesting places.
Last Sunday, me and my friends went to a little cosy tea house called the House, just off the Benedic Street. We had the fullest English breakfast ever and actually did manage to skip the lunch. Do you know that tea and baked bin are the 1st and 2nd favourite and most consumed food/drink in the UK?
After that "brunch", we decided to go to Cinema City in Norwich and watched a film called Amour. Cinema City is an art cinema at St. Andrew street that usually features theme movies with high quality. The highlight of the night is no doubt the film Amour. The title is French for love. You might think it is just another cheesy romance. However, the film itself, defines what love is in the hard way, confrontation of death and ageing. Indisputably the year's best foreign-language film, already a winner of Golden Globe and an Oscar front-runner, it is highly recommended guys!!!
If you’re in a mood for a night at the pub, try the PlayHouse! They have the best hot-cider in town. Hot beverage is a treat for this snowy weather. However, you need to be over 18 years old! And look at the roof, it is the upside-down version of London city. How cool is that! There is also a 300 seat reverside theatre here that programmes a broad range of shows and performamces all year round. It's definitely worth a try!
That's it for now! Good luck with the exams/assignments everyone.
Let's enjoy our mavelous student life!
