Job-hunting as a foreigner

People, no matter how different, tend to have the same concerns when they're thinking about making the crazy jump from home to abroad. Among what I'd rank the top five concerns is finding a job. I tend to think finding a job is a pretty trying task even when you're in your home country - throw in living in a foreign one, and feeling like a complete noob, and it takes on a whole new level of crazy. There's nothing quite like walking up to a counter, CV in hand, trying to make a good impression but really just despairing of the process entirely. But despair not! Getting a job is all about you . If you don't have the motivation, persistence, and confidence, it's not going to happen. So all you have to do is be your amazing self (dressed smartly, of course) and win people over.
