Useful information for International students at UEA
When I was planning to study in the UEA, two of my biggest concerns were finding an afordable place to live in the Norwich and finding cheap international flights; luckily I had the opportunity to meet incredibly nice people that helped me out along my way. In this blog I intend to provide some useful information, related to my own experience, that will hopefully give you an idea of what to expect.
I will start with finding accommodation, as it is very important to pay the deposit of your accomodation with time so you can ensure a place to live.
UEA offers different types of accomodation according to different needs and prices. In the next link you can find a comparison chart of prices and features of the accommodation of UEA.

Now, if you would like to live off campus, I reccomend you to search in the next websites, where you can find information such as prices, location, features, etc; and most important pictures of the flat and contact detailes of the land lord of that place.

When it comes to booking your flight tickets, we always look for cheap prices, I reccomend the services of "Student Universe" and the "International Organization for Migration".
Student universe is an organization that offers deals for students, the membership is free and the only thing you need to do is register online on http://www.studentuniverse.com/ and provide evidence that you are a student, yu can do this my submiting a letter from UEA, an oficial letter of your marks, your schedule, etc.
The International Organization for Migration offers concessional airfares for students; they charge a fee for the service, but the total flight prices are really good, you can send an email to bookingsuk@iom.int with the details of your travel (dates and places) and they will give you a quote including the fee.
