Whitney Houston 'RIP'

Valentine's Day has passed and everyone has showed their love and passion to their loved ones, whether be it your family, long-life partner, friends and relatives. But at the same time, there was shocking and breaking news to the world.

Another sad news broke out just before Valentine's Day. Just like in Summer 2009, when Michael Jackson shocked everyone with his departure. Whitney Houston, one of the most famous and inspiring singer, actress, producer and model has left on 11th February 2011, just 3 days before Valentine's Day. She was found dead in her guest room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California, the day before the 2012 Grammy Awards.

In 2009, the Guinness World Records cited her as the most-awarded female act of all time. Her awards include two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, and 22 American Music Awards, among a total of 415 career awards in her lifetime. She was also one of the world's best-selling music artists, having sold over 170 million albums, singles and videos worldwide. She also released seven studio albums and three movie soundtrack albums, all of which have diamond, multi-platinum, platinum or gold certification.

It was a shocking moment when Whitney Houston, who was also the 'Diva' alongside Michael Jackson, passed away. The cause of death was also unclear at first but many speculated that it was due to the use of drugs which caused her life. An article about her cause of death can be found here:

Her Private memorial was to be held in her childhood church in New Jersey, on 18th February, where she used to sing as a child back in her childhood days. An article with further details of her memorial can be found here:

This news has saddened us all, including myself as I have grew up listening to her songs during my childhood years. A great loss to one of the most famous singer and celebrity of all times!

May she be beside God and looks after us all! God Bless!
